The USB100EXT is a USB extender over

UTP. USB 1.1, max. 45 meter.

The NewStar UTP USB extender provides convenient and remote access to a computer located up to 45 meter away from a keyboard,

monitor, and mouse.

Your main system box can be placed in a safe and secure location away from where you need to access it. It consists of a local unit and

remote unit which are connected over long distances using standard Ethernet network patch cable.
